OOTD:My bridesmaid Dress Designed by Truly Couture

"Will you be my BRIDESMAID ?" There can be many creative ways to ask this question and when you say YES! You give the best gift to the Bride on her "BIG DAY". Getting married is like taking a new birth, starting a new life full of responsibilities. So, a bridesmaid task is even more difficult as she has to make the bride not only beautiful but also comfortable. And at the same time she has to look her best as eyes of all the guest will be on the bride and her, who knows, she might be the next one.

Girls! Before you hit the stores and buy dresses for the upcoming bridal season we are coming up with series of bridesmaid dresses and style them for you. Today's bridesmaid dress comes from "Truly Couture by Chhaya & Harit". Designer Chhaya Mehrotra is one of my favorite designers. In her collection, you will get absolutely what you want for a specific occasion. I feel she simply knows what a person would think before buying an outfit. Among her amazing collection I choose a pretty blue color "Lehenga" which is the best bridesmaid dress since ages and every Indian girl would love to have one in her closet. My dearest friend Shachi is wearing the pretty blue color lehenga with fun pop of Orange colored dupatta. 

Taking about the lehenga(bottom) first, it has pretty stone work of silver and gold  which runs circular in the outfit. The stone work is light weight and looks elegant. The choli(top) has good stone work with dori at the back which makes it look hot and sexy. Now talking about the orange colored dupatta, it has border of stone work which is similar to design in lehenga making it more feminine.

I have styled Shachi to make her look like contemporary Indian princess. Keeping the make-up bare minimum, with ornaments like mangtika and earrings she looks divine. Earring are from "Silver Lining ". The earrings have american diamonds and a blue stone in the middle. The Perl drop in the earrings is the key feature which adds four stars to the look of the dress.

Also to add that contemporary look to the outfit we have used a watch instead of bangles. As the dress is a bridesmaid dress so bridesmaid might have to run here and there and do some quick fixes in bride's dress so, bangles might disturb and if made of glass then they might break. The watch Shachi is wearing is handcrafted "Spriha watch". The watch is gold in color and goes great with the outfit and you don't feel that something is missing(I mean bangles)
