Barrels, Vasant Vihar Delhi: Restaurant review

Hello Foodies!!!

How are you guys?? I am sure you must be busy enjoying good food. So to add to your list of "Dine-in" restaurants I am here with a restaurant review.  Recently I was invited to review a restaurant named Barrels. This is located in Vasant Vihar Delhi. Though I have been to many pubs and Restro bars but this place was a little different. 

Lets start with the ambiance first; The restaurant is at the first floor so there are stairs which take you the restaurant. The restaurant has graffiti on the walls which makes you feel little excited as you read the quotes climbing upstairs. When you enter the restaurant you see dim lights, and on the walls graffiti which talks about your growth as child to being mature, it also talks about women liberalisation and love for music. The way it is portrayed on the walls they have taken help of witty quotes which at some point of time bring humor and other point of time sends a serious message. The furniture reminds me of the furniture in Movie "Coolie" and "Sharabi" of Amitabh Bachchan in which he goes to "desi daru ka adda" ie Liquor shop where he beats the villain. I guess you should check out the pictures below to learn more about the ambiance.

In menu they have good variety of liquor which is imported. While going through the menu and choosing your drinks you will enjoy reading the quotes which will take you to your college days when drinking liquor was for fun not a status symbol. The restaurant was started by five friends and so they have a special section in their menu which is titled as the Director's cut; it has cocktails which are inventions of Five directors of the panel and are also named after their name.

About the food I cannot speak much as I didn't got chance to try main course and the sweet section. But yes I had munchies which one prefers having with drinks. They have variety in starters. The quality was good in food and in drinks.

What special they have for you? 

They have small games like if you drink a MUG of beer in 5 seconds they give you another MUG for free, etc. 

If you like playing drums then they have drumset there you can go anytime and play those drums. For weekend FUN they have Unlimited Briyani on sunday @666 and Karaoke Night on friday. Well they have something for you every day of the week.

So friends if this weekend you are free and you want to hangout with your gang of friends then I guess you can check out this place for some more fun.
