One thing a girl can never live with out is a beautiful eyeliner. The choice of a liner varies from person to person as a few like gel liner and others like the matte finish ones. Today I will be reviewing Coloressence cake eyeliner which is not a gel liner. The best part of this product is it can be used as an eyeshadow as well. There are many good performance liners available in the market, but this one is good to fit in the pocket.

Starting from the packaging of the product it comes in a plastic black color pot with transparent roll-me to open cap. The cap has Coloressence written on it. This pot comes in black paper carton with product details written on it. It does not comes with a brush so if you own a brush its great but if you don't then you need to buy one.
The texture is smooth and works great as a eye-shadow. To use it as an eye shadow you need to wet the brush and then use it. As a liner or as eye-shadow it needs two three application as just one swipe is not enough. If you are in a hurry and getting late then this might not be a good choice as a liner. It last a pretty decent time which is around 5 hours. It gives beautiful matte finish. You can see in eye swatches below.
Overall a pretty decent product to use when you have time to apply the liner and get ready. Also for this price the quantity is good, and when you have a product to use as a liner and as eye-shadow then its a good product.

DeleteIt has a good finish though... do you think Maybelline get eyeliner is better option ?
ReplyDeleteShailja...Maybelline gel liner is a little pricey than this one and also might not be used as an eyeshadow.....This serves two purpose. :)
DeleteBut yes it is not that intense black as Maybelline and it does not provide a brush :P
