Roasted Red Pepper dip (MUHAMMARA) : Recipe shared by Bharti Sanghi



 
Ingredients

·         200 gms    Red peppers, roasted
·         ¼ cup        Fresh breadcrumbs
·         1/3 cup    Walnuts and pine nuts, lightly toasted and finely chopped
·         2-3 large cloves Garlic, made into a paste with 1tsp salt
·         1tbsp    Lemon juice
·         2 tbsp pomegranate juice
·         1tbsp    brown sugar
·         1 tsp Cumin ground
·         ½ tsp Hot dried red chilli flakes
·         ¼  Extra virgin olive oil
·         Salt to taste



Method:
In a food processor blend together all the ingredients except olive oil until the mixture is smooth and with the motor running, add the oil gradually.
