Everyone is waiting for Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Dilijit Dosanjh and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Udta Punjab to release on June 17, but the film has hit a roadblock. The Central Board of Film Certification has suggested the makers to drop Punjab from the title and make 89 additional cuts in the film. Producer Anurag Kashyap also ranted on Twitter, but most surprisingly, Shahid’s brother came in support of the movie and he also shared the post on his Facebook which read,” There are many things I’d like to say about how massively disappointing the authorities have been but for now I’d prefer to focus on how very important it is for our nation’s people to watch this film and learn what it has to offer. I’m not only speaking from a personal front, being that I’m one of the many who’ve put their blood and sweat into making a picture about the drug epidemic that’s plaguing Punjab (a reality I have seen first hand), but also as an audience. I hope we can watch ‪#‎udtapunjab‬ the way it is meant to be watched.”

Shahid Kapoor is busy with his Udta Punjab promotions now a days. He is talking a lot about himself and Mira Rajput. In a recent interview Shahid opened up on how he met first time to Mira. He said,” Mira and I never dated. We just met three to four times and decided to get married. I was about to start shooting for Udta Punjab when I met first met Mira. I remember I went to her house for the first time and I was in the Tommy zone. So, I had a ponytail, drop-crotch track pants and weird shoes on. I recall getting out of the car in this avatar at Mira’s farmhouse in Delhi. Her dad came out to welcome his son-in- law to be. He saw how I was dressed and he surely thought -`God what is my daughter getting married to.’ He barely looked at me, then whispered `Come inside’ and went away . It was adventurous of Mira to agree to marry a guy who looked like Tommy. I also remember telling her -`I am going to colour my hair.’ You should have seen her face.She is this 20-something girl coming out of LSR College and she was like `What?’ And when I told her I am playing a character called Tommy , she said, `That is not the name of a guy , it is the name of a dog.”

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput is the cutest couple of Bollywood and we all know this. Shahid always shared adorable selfies with his wife and now he shared this photo on social media and captioned,” Drive time with Mrs Kapoor #holidayvibes”. Shahid is busy in his movie Rangoon but he know very well how to take care of his wife. He took time and spent whole day with her and he also took her for a long drive.

Kareena and Shahid were dating each other sometimes back but now, they already moved on with their life partners. Shahid and Saif working in a movie together Rangoon and a lot has been said about them sharing cold vibes on the sets because of Kareena. In an interview with DNA when Kareena was asked bout the same, she said- "Really? In fact, I think they are getting along too well! I haven’t gone to the sets because I haven’t had the time. I have been travelling and they have been having very hectic schedules at night. Saif comes and tells me what fun they have been having on the sets. He quite enjoys chatting with Shahid and finds him a really nice guy. I don’t know why they shouldn’t be getting along.
